WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -

A New Jersey pharmacist has turned the tables on a would-be robber.

Authorities say the suspect walked into Jolin's Pharmacy in Winslow Township on Wednesday and demanded the prescription painkiller OxyContin.

The pharmacist was alone and believed the suspect was armed. Authorities say the pharmacist pulled out a handgun and fired several times.

The suspect jumped on a mountain bike and rode away.

The Camden County prosecutor's office says it's not known whether the man was wounded. The pharmacist was unharmed.
