Rep. Peter King: 'use force to stop' mideast violence

A wave of anti-American violence is underway in Libya, Egypt and Yemen.

The death of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens was initially reported to be retaliation for the release of an anti-Muslim video on the Internet by an American.

But experts say that may not be the true reason for the violence.

The attacks may have been coordinated and to coincide with the 11th anniversary of 9/11.

Good Day New York spoke with Rep. Peter King (R-LI) about the attacks and how the U.S. should respond.

"First we need to find what's going out on the ground… we need to use force to stop this.  In Egypt, they get more than $1 billion from us... We should make it clear that they will be withdrawn until this is stopped," said King.
