Actress Alison Pill, currently of HBO's The Newsroom, accidentally Tweeted a topless photo of herself to her followers on Wednesday.

The photo was quickly grabbed and posted around the internet before Pill could delete it from her Twitter account.

A short time later she posted:  "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."

Pill has more than 14,000 followers and has sent more than 1,800 Tweets.  You might say that the topless photo mistake will increase her exposure.

Gothamist is one of the sites to post the photo without altering it.

The Canadian born actress has appeared in several Broadway productions, and has extensive TV and film credits.

Alison Pill has been playing the role of Maggie Jordan in the Aaron Sorkin TV show The Newsroom, which has wrapped up its first season.
