A Pennsylvania man is hospitalized after falling 40 feet from an escalator at Atlantic City's newest casino.
The man was going up the escalator at Revel Casino at 1:30 a.m. Monday.
Twenty-9-year-old Kevin D. Denker Jr. suffered facial and other injuries and was in critical condition at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
Atlantic City police say it is believed Denker was leaving Revel with his girlfriend when he jumped onto the moving escalator railing and then fell over.
Two police officers who were at the casino on a separate call saw the fall and called emergency personnel.
Police say Denker was conscious when he was transported to the hospital.
