Classes have been canceled at Hoboken Charter School for the next three days after a three-alarm fire last week.
Seven firefighters were hurt and about 200 students were evacuated from the building located on Washington Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets on September 6.
Fire officials still have not determined what caused the fire that broke out on the second floor.
A fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, September 18, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. by the Hoboken Rotary for the Hoboken Charter School.
The proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the Hoboken Charter School in an effort to assist the school with immediate much-needed funds to help the school reopen as soon as possible. The school sustained fire, water and smoke damage.
