3 arrested for prostitution in massage parlor sting

PHOENIX -

Three women who worked in a Phoenix massage parlor are under arrest, facing charges of prostitution.

China Day Foot Spa and Massage has a list of services in its window. But something else that wasn't advertised is what put some employees in jail.

Santo Graziano cuts hair next door at a family barbershop. He says police have made several visits to the massage shop located off Bell Road and 64th Street.

"We have kids come in here, we just don't need that in this shopping center," he says.

On March 27, Phoenix Police conducted an undercover operation. An undercover officer allegedly got a massage here from Lan Wang, a massage therapist. Then he asked Wang to perform a sexual favor on him while topless. She allegedly agreed.

"The SWAT team came in, barged in... saw them take them out," says Ben Tasa.

Wednesday, Tasa watched as officers arrested Lan Wang, 47, Estephany Kubinski, 30, and Diana Huerta, 24, on charges of prostitution, illegal control of an enterprise, and conspiracy.

Today the doors are closed. The UPS man was the only activity we saw at the shop.

"I'm glad they are not here, and I hope they don't open up again," said Graziano.

Step through the doors of Hope's Land of Candy in Island Park, Long Island and you''ll be taking a trip back in time. There's no WIFI but they do have a Victrola piano. And then there's the candy.. lots and lots of it.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
