Infant grazed by bullet in the Bronx

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City police say a 2-month-old boy was grazed by a bullet in the Bronx.

The infant was taken to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center. His injuries were not serious.

Police say the bullet grazed him around 11 p.m. Wednesday as he sat in a stroller outside an apartment building on Seneca Avenue.

There have been no arrests.

It was the latest incident of gun violence in the city involving innocent children.

In July, a 4-year-old boy was killed on a Bronx playground. A week later, a 14-year-old was fatally shot in the Bronx after playing tennis.
