New York State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a 5-year-old girl that had been reported abducted outside a school in Newburgh.
Police now say that no child was abducted. Cops said there was no evidence to back up a report from a group of children two men grabbed a girl and forced her into black or dark pickup truck on Wednesday, the AP reported.
The call came in from South Junior High School at 33 Monument Street at about 3:30 p.m.
