A Long Island teenager is under arrest after police say he made terrorist threats against his school on Tuesday afternoon.

The 17-year-old Massapequa teen is accused of making the threats while he was at Town Bagel on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa.

The Nassau County Police Department says the boy made several verbal terrorist threats that other people in the store could hear. Witnesses report that the teen, who is a student at Massapequa High School, stated that he ‘wanted to bomb the school and be a terrorist', ‘hates people and wants to kill them', and ‘wants to go to Europe and kill more people'.

Massapequa High School personnel were alerted of these threats and positively identified the defendant.

The boy was arrested at his home without incident.  Police say he did not have any weapons.  He was to be arraigned on Wednesday in Hempstead.
