It's all things anime at Chou Anime Café in Midtown. Dining here cannot be done without submersing completely in this Japanese pop-culture.
The wait staff takes part in "cosplay" - short for costume play. They serve you while dressed up as a "maid" or "butler" character. Anime art and paraphernalia cover the walls. Even the food pays homage to Japan. You can order noodle dishes, sushi rolls, or salads.
You can view the full menu and more at www.chouanime.com. The café's grand opening is this Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
