Neighborhood bikeathon: Madison Heights sisters raise money

Posted: Updated:
MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) -

Some kids may spend their last summer days on the beach, in the pool or simply hanging out with their friends.  That's not what 9-year-old-Kelsey and her 6-year-old sister Kaycee did.  Nope.  They rode for a cause.

The girls rode around their neighborhood to raise money for the Rose Foundation, a charity group that gives money to cancer patients who are struggling to pay their medical bills.

After a day and many miles on the pavement the girls raised $400.00
