Fire destroys apartment building in Brooklyn

The FDNY said a fast moving fire broke out in an apartment building in Brooklyn early Monday morning. 

The fire started around 2:30 a.m. on Carroll Street near Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights and it took more than 100 firefighters to put out four-story building blaze. 

The massive fire poured out of windows and damaged the building's upper floors. 

Officials say six people were slightly injured along with 11 firemen. The firefighters were taken to Kings County Hospital, according to the FDNY.

The fire was contained around 4:15 a.m.
