17-year-old killed in Kane County single-vehicle crash

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
A 17-year-old boy was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Kane County Sunday morning.
The driver was speeding and crossed the center line on Plank Road, west of Engel Road near Burlington, causing the car to roll over several times before hitting a tree.
Lawrence Echols, 17, was killed in the crash. The driver and two other passengers were hurt.
The Kane County sheriff's department is investigating the accident.
