Residents of a homeless shelter in Brooklyn have a message for Mayor Bloomberg: "You have to see it to believe it!"

This comes after Bloomberg made comments that the city's shelter system is "a much more pleasurable experience than they ever had before."

The protesters, along with community leaders and Community Advocate Tony Herbert were outside the Salvation Army Bushwick Family Residence and say conditions are unsafe and unsanitary.

The residents are inviting the Mayor to come spend a night with them so he can witness what the conditions are like.
