The former Marine who shot and killed co-workers at a New Jersey supermarket left eerie warning signs before the shooting.

23-year-old Terence Tyler dressed in desert camouflage gear and walked into the Pathmark in Old Bridge early Friday morning and began shooting.

Tyler posted a question three years ago on his Twitter page: "Is it normal to want to kill ALL of your coworkers?"

Another post asked: "I'm starting to see why people go on killing sprees and these (obscenity) are really pushing my kill everyone I see button."

Listed at the top of his Facebook page was: "Be optimistic. All the people you hate are going to eventually die."

Tyler had left his job as an overnight clerk at the Pathmark about 3:30 a.m. before he returned to the store soon afterward with a handgun and an assault rifle.

He fired more than 16 rounds, shooting at an employee standing outside and blowing out windows. The former Marine shot at five other workers in an aisle before killing 18-year-old Christina LoBrutto and 24-year-old Bryan Breen.

Tyler then turned the gun on himself and took his own life.

He was discharged from the Marines in 2010 and family members say he was depressed after his mother died.

Tyler, who also lived in San Diego where he served in the Marines, left San Diego in June for New Jersey, where he lived with his sister and uncle.
