MYFOXNY.COM -

A contractor was apparently electrocuted while he worked on a Scarsdale home this week.

Police responded to a Brichall Drive home yesterday morning after the man's relatives said he had not returned home from work the night before.

Police found 47-year-old Michael Macol's body in the basement near electrical lines he had been working on.

The Scarsdale Fire Department and the White Plains Fire Department helped remove the Bethel, Conn. man's body.

The incident is being investigated by Scarsdale police and the Westchester County Medical Examiner's Office but it appears Macol was electrocuted.
