SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (MyFox Detroit)
-- There are luxury cars and then there is the Snyder, which is basic by any definition.

"Does not have air bags," said John Jackman of JMJ Motors Incorporated, located 20 miles north of Detroit.

He is selling the Chinese-made Snyder for about $8,000 brand new.

"It's a 2012, 600cc, two cylinder, fuel injected.  It will get up to 70 miles a gallon, and it's a fun, fun car."

The four speed Snyder draws stares and smiles.  From behind it looks like it is either floating or missing a front end.

"I drove this down the street and I tell you what, it gets more looks than a Ferrari does," Jackman remarked.

The question -- who is the market for a sedan that's titled as a motorcycle?

"College student.  Be a good campus vehicle.  Great on gas," Jackman said.

He also sees it being towed behind RVs.  As for color, you can have it any color you want as long as it's red or blue.
