Police say one man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting outside a housing project in the Bronx early Sunday morning.

The two victims, who were 20 and 25 years old, were drinking on a bench outside the Pelham Parkway Houses on Pelham Parkway North around 1:00 a.m. when a group of men walked up the pair.

One of the men from the group pulled out a gun and shot 25-year-old Adrian Garica in the neck and the 20-year-old unidentified man in the leg.

EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced Garcia dead at location. The other victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

The gunman fled the scene and is still at large. Police say their investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
