Residents of a Brooklyn neighborhood held a rally Saturday afternoon to demand better working conditions for employees of a local grocery store.
The protesters are calling for a boycott of Golden Farm grocery store on Church Avenue in the Kensington section until its owner meets the demands of workers.
They are calling for owner Sonny Kim to give workers a fair contract that would include paid sick days.
Felix Trinidad, who died last month after a battle with stomach cancer, worked for the grocery store for 12 years.
Boycott organizers say before their efforts started, workers weren't even paid minimum wage.

The van rear-ended a Taxi and Limousine Commission vehicle at the corner of Church Ave. and Utica Ave. at about 7:45 a.m., said police.
