The NYPD are asking the public to be aware of a rapist who is still at large near the West Village.
Police have released a sketch of the suspect.
The suspect assaulted a 41-year-old woman on August 17 around 1:00 a.m. inside a massage parlor near Washington Square Park.
Authorities said the suspect raped her while the victim was unconscious and then proceeded to rob the parlor. The victim was taken by EMS to Beth Israel Medical Center where she is listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male between 20-25 years old. He is around 6'0" tall, medium build, wearing a dark Kangol-style cap, dark T-shirt, camouflage shorts, and a backpack.
