A teenager is accused of shooting out windows of cars as they passed an intersection in the northwest suburbs.

The New York State Police says the 13-year-old was aiming at vehicles at the intersection of County Route 12 and County Route 37 in the town of Wawayanda.

Troopers found two motorists who had their side windows shattered as they drove past the intersection.

They found the boy with a BB gun as they searched the area.

The boy was picked up and then turned over to a parent.  He will head to the Orange County Family Court to answer charges of criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.

No injuries were reported.
