A Long Island elementary school custodian has been busted for child porn.

Suffolk County Police arrested Shawn Mead, 44, of Patchague on Monday.

Detectives from the Computer Crimes Unit conducted an undercover investigation into individuals trading child pornography online.

They say Mead was caught with numerous pornographic digital images that included photos and videos of young children engaged in sexual activity.

Mead works at the Lincoln Avenue Elementary School in Sayville.  He turned himself in and faces child porn charges.

He was arraigned in Central Islip on Tuesday.  Bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
