ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - The use of unshuffled cards in two Atlantic City casinos since December has led to steep fines, several firings and costly lawsuits.

The most recent pits the Golden Nugget against 14 Asian-American gamblers who won 41 straight hands of mini-baccarat in April after it became apparent the cards were not shuffled. The cards kept coming out in the same pattern over and over again.

Last December, the Trump Taj Mahal failed to shuffle eight decks of mini-baccarat cards before using them. It was fined more than $91,000, and fired nine employees.
