The U.S. Air Force Aerial Demonstration Team known as the "Thunderbirds" performed flyovers over Yankee Stadium prior to the Yankees/Red Sox game Saturday afternoon.

The Thunderbirds then took their high-speed aerial display down the Hudson River before flying over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

All local airports were notified of the Thunderbirds aerial activity.

The demonstration team will be back over the Hudson again on Sunday when they'll pass the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum before returning to New Jersey.

The Thunderbirds will return to action on Monday when they flyover Citi Field Monday night, before the Mets' game with the Colorado Rockies. Then the planes zoom back to Atlantic City.

The aerial display will conclude on Tuesday night when they flyover MCU Park prior to the Brooklyn Cyclones game before returning to Florida.
