Suspect wanted for assaulting and robbing subway riders

Police are looking for the man who is accused of stealing and beating up straphangers in the Bronx and Lower Manhattan.
The NYPD says the suspect is one of a group of suspects who have been approaching male victims in their late 20's, assaulting them and taking their personal property.
Two of the assaults have taken place on the Number ‘6' train line in the Bronx and the other happened on the Number ‘2' train in the West Village of Manhattan.
Police have the suspect on surveillance camera is listed as 5'8"-6'0" tall, around 170-200 pounds, with black braids, and was wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, and green shorts.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto Crime Stoppers' website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
