Two people were slashed by knife-wielding men on a Times Square subway platform on Friday morning.

Police say one attacker is in custody and the other remains on the loose.

The FDNY says it happened at 4:35 a.m. at the Times Square station at West 41st St. and 7th Ave.

Both victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital.  A 24-year-old was slashed in the neck and arms, and a 33-year-old was cut in the face.  The younger victim was listed in serious condition.

The New York Post reports that a 22-year-old suspect was arrested on 40th Street and 8th Avenue and the second slasher was still on the loose.

It was not what caused the violent attack.
