A new poll by Time magazine found one in four people check their mobile phones every 30 minutes; 1 in 5 every 10 minutes.

From constant news updates and ongoing conversations, Americans spend a great deal of time using their mobile devices.

According to the Time Mobility Poll, three-quarters of 25-29 year olds sleep with their phones.

Good Day NY spoke with people on the street about their mobile habits.

Several said they'd be happy to put down the devices for an entire day. The real question is how many would actually follow through.
