Victim of deadly Harlem B&B shooting identified

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD has identified the victim of a fatal shooting inside a Harlem bed and breakfast.

D'Angelo Brown, 23, was shot in the neck during a party inside his room at the Harlem Bed & Breakfast early Thursday morning.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said a dispute broke out in the bedroom. Brown was pronounced dead at a hospital.

It was not immediately known what the argument was about.

No arrests have been made but Kelly said police had "some significant leads."

The Wall Street Journal requests for comment from the innkeeper of the four-story brownstone were not returned.

Rooms at the inn range from $75 to $495 a night.
