One more thing about the Drew Peterson trial.
As you've probably noticed by now, Peterson's defense team meets the press every day wearing sunglasses. This week, a Cincinnati restaurant owner who watches the trial on cable bought an ad in the Sun-Times blasting the lawyers for being shameless and a disgrace to their profession; staging a Three-Stooges routine with sunglasses.
It does kind of give their press conferences a Blues Brothers quality. Maybe this is a look suggested by their client. After all, when Peterson was arrested, police had to remove his shades.
So, what's going on here?
We asked our reporter on the scene, Craig Wall, to find out if the prosecution might also adopt this look.
""I got my White Sox Oakleys which, would look much more stylish because they got silver trim and I look like the Three Stooges," replied state attorney, James Glasgow.
And before we let the defense rest, we'll let them present their final argument.
Legal experts say the media attention is often part of a calculated plan to help the lawyers annoy prosecutors, and possibly get book or movie deals after the trial.
I guess at the very least it might mean a foster grant ad. See you tomorrow.
