A new pet-only hotel is opening in Chelsea with rooms costing as much as $200 a night. This canine kingdom boasts 19-foot ceilings and 42-inch TVs -- all for man's best friend.
While the D-pet hotel is making headlines, it isn't the only one catering to Fido. Just ask Winston, a frequent guest at the pet-friendly Benjamin Hotel in Midtown. A full bowl of food, a stack of toys, and the choice of 12 different kinds of canine pillows awaits him at check-in.
The Benjamin, like other high-end hotels in the city, offers the "dream dog" program. These hotels provide the usual services: dog watching and dog walking. But they take it one step further with pet movies, pet spas, and pet taxis.
