Powerball jackpot reaches $320 million

MYFOXNY.COM -

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing has been increased to an estimated $320 million.

The New York Lottery says the $15 million bump is due to brisk sales across all participating Powerball states.

The new jackpot marks the fourth largest Powerball jackpot in the game's 20-year history. The largest Powerball jackpot to date was $365 million won in Nebraska in 2006.

If no one matches all five numbers plus the Powerball in Wednesday night's drawing, the jackpot will continue to grow.
