Rob Pattinson appears at 'Cosmopolis' premiere

MYFOXNY.COM -

The crowds turned out Monday to support a-list Hollywood heartthrob Rob Pattinson at the premier of his new film, "Cosmopolis." It was also his first public appearance since photos surfaced showing longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart locking lips with director Rupert Sanders.

When Pattinson arrived to walk the red carpet, the cameras and microphones were trained on his every word. People hoped he'd have something, anything to say about his broken heart or cheating girlfriend.

But all he wanted to talk about was "Cosmopolis."

Rumor was that Kristen Stewart was looking to crash the event in an effort to talk to Rob and that security was on alert to ban her.

Event staffers said that rumor was absurd.

"Cosmopolis," based on the novel by Don DeLillo, is a contemporary thriller directed by David Cronenberg.
