Composer Marvin Hamlisch remembered in NYC

Marvin Hamlisch, known as the "people's composer," was remembered as family and friends celebrated his life on Sunday. 

A second visitation is scheduled Monday at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on the Upper East Side. 

The funeral for Hamlisch will be on Tuesday. 

Hamlisch won three Academy Awards, four Grammy's, four Emmy's and a Tony Award as well.  

The 68-year-old Hamlisch died from a brief illness on August 6. He is survived by Terre, his wife of 25 years.
