Girl, 10, victim of sex assault in Queens

A 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the elevator of a building in Flushing, Queens, said police.

Investigators are hoping a sketch of the assailant released Friday will help them find the suspect.

The assault allegedly occurred on Tuesday, July 31 at about 7:30 p.m. in the area of Colden St. and Franklin Ave.

The man is described by police as Asian, 45-55 years old, 5'5" tall and 165 lbs. 170 lbs.

He fled the scene.

The suspect was last seen wearing tan shorts and a green shirt with blue stripes.
