Nik Wallenda completed an unharnessed tightrope walk high above the beach in Atlantic City.
Nik Wallenda, of the famed Flying Wallendas, walked a tightrope strung high above the Atlantic City beach on Thursday afternoon.
Unlike in his recent feat over Niagara Falls, the daredevil was unharnessed this time.
Aerial video over the area showed thousands of people gathered on the beach and boardwalk to watch.
The 100-foot-high and quarter-mile-long line was strung from cranes near the Atlantic Club Casino Hotel and the Tropicana Casino & Resort, the AP reported.
Wallenda is the great-grandson of daredevil Karl Wallenda, who was killed doing a stunt in Puerto Rico in 1978.
