A motorcyclist was killed after hitting two vehicles on a Long Island road Wednesday night.

Police say the unidentified motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Station Road at a high rate of speed on a 2002 Yahama.

He apparently lost control at 9:22 p.m. and struck a bus traveling southbound.

Ronald Grant, 66, of Port Orange, Florida, was operating the bus and was making a left turn into a driveway at 991 Station Road.

The motorcycle then collided with a 2008 Range Rover operated by James Alden, of East Northport, who was also traveling southbound on Station Road.

The male motorcyclist died at the scene.  Grant and Alden were hurt.

The investigation is continuing.
