Man dies in motorcycle accident

A motorcycle collided with a car in Long Island leaving one injured and one dead.

Police say Anthony LaToree, 23, was riding a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle southbound on Pond Road in Ronkonkoma.  They say he hit a 2003 Toyota Camry at 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of Express Drive North.

The driver, Annie Vitta, 57, of Holbrook was taken to Stony Brook Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

LaToree was also taken to the same hospital where he died at 6:25 p.m.

The vehicles were impounded for inspection.
