Kissena Park in Flushing, Queens, has a velodrome, a racing track designed specifically for cycling. It was originally built for the 1964 Olympic trials and was then mostly neglected. It reopened in 2004 after major renovations, DNAinfo.com reports.
Now it hosts bike races throughout the week and on weekends.
