Drive-by shooting in kills 1, injures another in Brooklyn

One man was shot and killed and another was injured during a drive-by shooting in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.

Police say the two victims were walking from a party on East 84th Street near Flatlands Avenue in Canarsie around 2:40 a.m. when a car drove up and fired two shots at them. 

Authorities say a 30-year-old man was hit in the torso and was taken by EMS to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other man, 31, was also struck in the torso and was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he's in stable condition. 

Police have made no arrests and their investigation is ongoing.
