All Rob Delgado and the rest of the guys from the Latin Cruisers Car Club could do is sit and watch as firefighters doused the two alarm blaze that took some of their most prized possessions. Their antique cars.

"It's not looking too good, " Delgado said. "It looks nice and barbequed so unless barbequed cars come into style."

"Any thought you could replace that," Fox 29s Dave Schratwieser asked Mark Delgado, "Nah I wouldn't know where to start," he said.

"I heard like a little explosion," Edward Flores said .

The two alarm fire broke out just before 9 a.m. inside the garage at 1901 Westmoreland where at least 20 classic or vintage cars were housed. They're worth almost a million dollars.

"All in excellent condition," Flores said."My Shelby's worth about $100,000, my Maverick was insured for $40,000."

"The Thunderbird was my dad's car, Eddie's father's car, it was all mostly sentimental," Delgado said.

Howard Voliva lost his 1976 AMC Pacer that he restored in his dad's memory.

"The seats were inscribed , inspired by my father, because he had three of them,"he said.

Raymond Vega had his 1971 Ford Maverick with the high performance engine for 17 years. It was worth around $60,000.

"I just lost everything in one second," Vega said..

Fire fighters worked all morning to knock the smokey fire down, tearing away sections of the corner garage trying to get at some stubborn flames.

"Right now the fire marshal is one location and conducting an investigation at this time," said one fire official.

"Unfortunately some of them weren't insured. It's something you can't replace. A lot of sentimental value," another care owner added.

City officials said there were no L&I violations on record.The cause still undetermined.There were no evacuations or injuries, just a lot of broken hearts, FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser reported.
