2 men shot dead in Brooklyn

Two men were found with gunshot wounds in front of a building in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

Mario Mejia, 28, was pronounced dead by EMS outside 456 Georgia Ave. just before 1 a.m. Wednesday. He was shot in the head, said police.

Leonardo Saravia, 24, was shot in the leg and rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made.

The double shooting comes as Mayor Michael Bloomberg calls for tougher federal gun laws following the massacre at a movie theater in Colorado and several shootings in New York City in recent weeks.

Two children were caught in the shootings in NYC.
