Federal investigators are reportedly examining millions in taxpayer dollars that Rep. Gregory Meeks of Queens steered to a non-profit in his district.

Rep. Meeks spoke with GDNY on Tuesday about the alleged allegations as reported in the New York Post.

"They're all inaccurate. It's the New York Post. I've never been under investigation. I have never been questioned by the Feds. I've just been doing my job. The not-for-profit redevelops downtown Jamaica," said Meeks.

The U.S. Attorney's Office issued a subpoena to the Greater Jamaica Development Corp. requesting more information on the federal funding requested by Meeks..

The Post reports the numerous grants to the organization include $9.2 million in funding from the Federal Transit Administration to fix up an underpass below the LIRR tracks.
