NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD says a man was killed after losing control of his motorcycle and striking two parked vehicles in Manhattan.

Police say 42-year-old Cameron Wharton of Manhattan was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the 10 p.m. accident on Monday.

They say an investigation revealed that Wharton was driving at a high rate of speed when he struck the vehicles on West 152nd Street.
