Federal investigators are scrutinizing millions in taxpayer dollars that Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) steered to a Queens nonprofit, according to the New York Post.

The Queens non-profit called The Greater Jamaica Development Corporation has been issued a subpoena by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Meek's political mentor, Rev. Floyd Flake, sits on the non-profit's board and Meeks has arranged for numerous grants to the organization – including $9.2 million from the Federal Transit Administration to fix up a aging underpass below the Long Island Rail Road tracks and create a shopping arcade there.

Fox 5 News is waiting to hear back from Congressman Weeks.
