The NYPD's Stop-and-Frisk policy has been a controversial issue in the city.

Many community groups have called for an end to the program but one New York Assemblyman has called for reforming the policy and is asking residents for their support.

This comes in the wake of the shooting death of a 4-year-old Lloyd Morgan in the Bronx who was caught in the crossfire at a playground on July 22.

Assemblyman Eric Stevenson (D-Bronx), Clergy and community residents are calling on Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Commissioner Raymond Kelly and the NYPD to reform stop and frisk.

Stevenson says violence, like the shooting of the 4-year-old boy, needs to stop -- but says police should not harass the people they stop-and-frisk.

The rally, which was held in Crotona Park East, was followed by a stop the killing concert, community barbecue, healthfare and musical entertainment.
