Funeral held for New Rochelle fireman who died in boat accident

Family, friends and firefighters attended the funeral of a firefighter from New Rochelle Saturday who drowned in a boating accident.
Hundreds of mourners filled Holy Name of Jesus Church in New Rochelle to remember 30-year-old Keith Morris. Morris accidentally drowned on July 22 when the boat he was driving capsized after it crashed into the Stamford Harbor seawall.
The four other passengers on board survived.
Morris worked as a firefighter and served with Ladder Company 12 at Fire Station 2 on Webster Avenue in the Bronx since 2004.
Authorities are trying to determine what happened to the 27-foot Sea Ray in the minutes before the crash.
Morris will be laid to rest at the Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx.
