Webster Hall foam party

MYFOXNY.COM -

The crew at Webster Hall gave Fox 5 a behind the scenes look as they set-up for what they're calling the largest foam party in the world: 40 thousand square feet of foam in all on July 28.

Cannons will rain suds and soak dancers below.

The wet and wild time will be a first for Webster Hall.

Webster hall can hold about 2,000 people -- jammed side by side, packed in shoulder to shoulder with foam everywhere.

The venue is taking safety precautions by adding carpeting to the floor so that no one slips and falls.

But the foam parties don't come without a bit of controversy. YouTube video chronicles a "Sweet 16″ party in Ohio where 10 people were arrested after police said sex and drugs were present along with loads of foam.

Webster says extra security will be on hand.
