A three month old New Jersey boy has died from his injuries after he was allegedly thrown from a third floor window.

Hackensack University Medical Center reported that Damien Bruno died on Tuesday morning.

Jersey City police say a Frederico Bruno, 19 beat his ex-girlfriend and pushed her out of a third-floor window with her baby in her arms on July 27th.

"He was assaulting the mother of his child, she indicated she was going call the police," said Chief Tom Comey. "He then set upon her and stabbed her viciously."

Comey said it appears Bruno repeatedly stabbed his 20-year-old ex and her friend, then threw his ex, who was holding their baby boy, out of the window. During the fall, the two hit air conditioners before slamming onto the concrete ground in the backyard.

But it didn't end there. Cops said Bruno tried to finish the job by climbing down the fire escape to beat her with a table he found in the yard.

Cops said they had been called to the apartment several times just in the past week but there was no order of protection issued.

The two women are in critical condition, police said.
