A Bronx father found his own 14-year-old son dead in a Bronx park early Friday morning.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call just before 6 a.m. to Haffen Park, loacted between Bruner Ave. and Burke Ave.

Cassel Brooks, 50, had gone to look for his son, Kemar Bryan Brooks, who had gone to play tennis the night before but never cam home, Fox 5's Ti-Hua Chang reports. The elder Brooks found Kemar unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS arrived but Kemar was dead.

Kemar was lying with his tennis racket by his side not far from the courts. The family lives one bock away.

Sources told the Post that the teen went into cardiac arrest after receiving some sort of head trauma.

Brooks said his son had just a small amount of blood coming out of his nose.

Police said their investigation is continuing and the medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
