Sucker-punch robber sought in the Bronx

The NYPD is looking for a man who walks up to his victims, sucker-punches them in the head and then robs them.

Four people have been attacked in the Baychester section of the Bronx between May 27 and July 12.

In the last incident, the suspect is seen on a surveillance video walking up behind the victim in a building lobby. He then starts punching her in the head.

It shows the woman falling and then struggling with the suspect who overpowers and robs her.

Here is a list of the incidents from the NYPD:

Incident#1: Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 5:30 a.m., in the vicinity of Wallace Avenue.

Incident#2: Friday, June 1, 2012 at 1:28 a.m., in the vicinity of Holland Avenue.

Incident#3: Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 3:08 a.m., in the vicinity of Matthews Avenue.

Incident#4: Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 9:00 p.m., in the vicinity of Bronx Park East.

The police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man about 25-30 years old and 5'9" tall.  He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and a red and black baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS.  Police say that all calls will be kept confidential.
